CLIENTS' COMMENTS
The services at St. Mary's are of a high standard and the people are always willing to help the less fortunate ones. The activities are well planned. Thanks.

I really think this a good thing you are doing - it goes to show you really do care about people and what they need in life. Thank you very much.

I was pleased to find the staff here so friendly and willing to help. I observe they are undiscriminating and this is most refreshing to see.

EMPLOYEES' COMMENTS
I am proud to be a member of the 'No Limits Community Program' team at SMHOW, auspiced by the Daughters of Charity - essentially, being part of the strategic cutting edge of best practice as part of ongoing quality assurance within this organisation.

SMHOW is forging ahead to continue to meet the needs and wishes of the most marginalised people within our society. As an employee within this organisation, it is very satisfying to experience the sense of community that is the life of SMHOW.

OTHER AGENCIES' COMMENTS
North Yarra Community Health works closely with SMHOW in supporting a range of clients with high and complex needs. In fact a recent survey found that around 60% of SMHOW clients had seen a NYCH service provider in the past year. SMHOW is an integral part of the service system in the Fitzroy area and a valued partner for us.

St Mary's House of Welcome is one of the key homelessness agencies in Yarra. In acknowledgment of the important role of the service for Yarra's marginalised and homeless, Council is pleased to support St Mary's in a variety of ways - for example the food program, recreation programs, social support programs, art and creativity programs - and partners St Mary's in innovative projects addressing disadvantage.

The men from Corpus Christi Community are always made to feel welcome and at home whenever we visit the House of Welcome for the pool comp. Most of our men have dropped in for a feed and some company over the years and are always pleased to catch up with old friends.....visitors and staff.
