Our Services

At St Mary’s House of Welcome, we open our doors to those in need, six days a week.

We are open to all people over the age of 18.  Children are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, showers and emergency assistance. We do not provide accommodation but we can help you find accommodation. We also have longer-term programs and referral networks – you can talk to us about the help you need.

  • Meals (Mon-Sat) a hot, nutritious breakfast and lunch with table service by volunteers in the St Mary’s House of Welcome dining room

  • Free showers, with towels and toiletries

  • Emergency relief (such as food hampers, clothing and accommodation)

  • Case Management and support

  • NDIS psychosocial program

  • Community gardening

  • Social inclusion and wellness programs (such as Art and Craft, Yoga)

  • Free monthly optometry and haircuts

  • Computer access

  • Centrelink access

  • Classes on food preparation and healthy eating

  • Mail collection

  • Laundry facilities (Monday and Saturday)

Activities

St Mary’s House of Welcome runs a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities and classes, designed to reduce social isolation and encourage participation in community.
