St Mary’s House of Welcome is a Company limited by guarantee as one of the four Incorporated Works of the Daughters of Charity in Australia.

The Trustees of the Incorporated Works appoint the Board of Directors of St Mary’s House of Welcome.

Governance by the Board is carried out in line with the Constitution of St Mary’s House of Welcome and the Daughters of Charity Charter of Corporate Governance for St Mary’s House of Welcome.

St Mary’s House of Welcome is a Registered Charity and operates in accordance with the regulations set down by the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission (ACNC).

Our Strategy

St Mary’s House of Welcome’s Strategic Plan (2025 to 2028) supports the Purpose and Mission of the organisation and is underpinned by the Principles of Catholic Social Teaching.
