The Homeless Grapes Project

2018 Yarra Valley Chardonnay

100% of proceeds go directly towards supporting disadvantaged people.

Through The Homeless Grapes Project, Vinomofo recruited De Bortoli Wines, TarraWarra Estate and Rochford Wines to collaborate and make a special Yarra Valley chardonnay just for us.

We’re proud and excited to have been chosen to receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this wine, allowing us to continue to support the most disadvantaged people in our community.

What is The Homeless Grapes Project?

The Homeless Grapes Project began in 2015, when Jock Harvey from Chalk Hill Wines posted on Facebook that he had a surplus block of grapes that his team couldn’t pick, and anyone could have them for a donation to charity. Vinomofo CEO, Andre, saw an opportunity to make cheeky little shiraz with the grapes and send 100% of the profits to charity. And this is how The Homeless Grapes Project was born.

The Wine

Vinomofo are selling the wine for $25 a bottle, which is good value for some delicious Yarra Valley chardonnay goodness.

A lot of love has gone into the making of this wine, not to mention how good you will feel about being involved, with your money going straight to help people experiencing chronic homelessness and disadvantage via St Mary’s House of Welcome.
